More than one fold

I enjoyed having a go at Craft Dens Anything Goes Blog last time so I thought I'd have another go for more than one fold challenge! I have used Bo Bunny's Burnt Orange Dot as the background and Bo Bunnys Psycadelic Flower girl paper which I have cut and folded in the bottome left and top right corner. I really love this paper! I then coloured in some letters with a brown copic pen (thanks Sue for this idea!) I used some ribbon and flowers from stash and used turquoise stickles around the border. Hope you like it.

D is for Dancing and Dreaming!! I thought I would have a go at Craft Dens Challenge Blog Anything Goes as I have been wanting to for ages but sometimes life throws up challenges of its own! However I have managed to have a little go this time! To create my LO i used basic yellow cardstock as my background and Bo Bunny Splendor Swirl inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye. I used Primas "Very Cherry" to frame the photos and cut out the gorgeous roses to scatter across the page. I stickled these with Xmas Red. Sizzixs Hunky dory lettering for the title and gems from stash. I would like to enter this into Anything Goes Challenge the letter'D'. - How very exciting!!

I have unfortunately missed the last 2 weeks of my lovely scrapbook class but have stayed up late a few nights to do some layouts - am paying the price now by being even more tired than usual! Cant wait to get back to class on Thursday evening.

The firework layout is basic bazzil blackbird and i used BoBunnys Blast Off range 'starburst' as I thought it looked a bit like fireworks. I then used lots of different colour stickles to try to make them look even more like fireworks! Alphabets from stash and papers from craft den. For the princess LO I used magnolias 'once upon a time' paper and bling and ribbon from stash. I have a little girl who loves dressing up more than life itself and is steadily going through my necklaces, scarfs, bracelets and lip gloss!

Hope you have enjoyed the long weekend and I hope you can leave a comment as I love reading them but not holding out much hope as blogger is not playing ball recently.

As I couldnt make my weekly scrapbook class this week I was getting crafting withdrawals so my lovely hubby kept the kids busy and gave me some time to do a couple of layouts Hurrah!!

Carefree summer days is Bo Bunnys persuasion stripe paper with flowers from stash and my trademark stickles! Ive used tim holtz upon a time die cut for the title which is the reverse side of the paper.

My first boys page!! I so enjoyed creating this layout let me tell you! I used echo park papers little boy range and sizzix hunky dory die cut for the lettering. My hubby bought me a second hand bigshot for easter and I have been having so much fun with it - anyone know of any good alphabet fonts please let me know!

Have a fab day tomorrow and hope the Easter Bunny brings you something yummy!!!

Had a lovely time on Thursday evening at the Craft Den and luck would have it we were doing the exact colours to compliment the professional photo we had taken of Caitlin and Jake for Mothers Day! Also had a few minutes this weekend to do a layout literally was quite rushed but enjoyed it all the same! Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Xx

When Lynne said last week that we would be doing a wedding lo this week i knew I had the most perfect photo.... Caitlin aka pricess aurora & her grandad aka prince charmimg play a game every week where they get married and then have a wedding dance. To do this they have to wear their wedding hats. Caitlins is grandmas sun hat and grandads is the washing up bowl! These little moments are so priceless and that is why I love scrapbooking so much because you get to capture that moment in time and present in the most beautiful way....

Really enjoyed getting back to scrapbook classes at Craft Den last night - was a bit anxious as first time ive left jake at night but when i got home after a really enjoyable class they were both fast asleep in bed! Looking forward to next week now! We made a really lovely page (as usual) learning a few tips about matting photos to make them stand out. Here is my page along with some updated pics of Jake who is already 5 months old!

Caitlin was 3 yesterday! Luckily baby didnt choose that day to arrive and is still quite happy doing gymnastics in my tummy! 38 weeks today so cant be that much longer!

Caitlin had a lovely birthday. she chose to go to the cinema and we had a birthday tea at grandma and grandads and grandma made her famous chocolate cake. I am attempting a butterfly cake on friday for her little party at pizza hut on Saturday all being well!

Will post scrapbook LOs as soon as i am able to do them!!!

I enjoyed doing a bit of crafting last night and the lovely company at craft den, but at 35 wks pregnant found it all a bit tiring so think it will be my last one untill after the baby is born - but will be checking the blog to see all the lovely crafting you guys are doing. Will keep you updated with baby news. Getting very excited now - so is Caitlin!

Well another gorgeous day in sheffield folks! I asked Caitlin what she wanted to do today and to my delight she said "crafting"! She looked in her craft book and picked out a decorated box to do, so off we went to home bargains and got a princess jewellery box to decorate. So while she was happily doing that and making a bracelet I made a scrapbook page of her favourite dress! We did another gorgeous layout last night at Craft Den & surprisingly Caitlin is wearing that 'dress' in the photo!!! Have a great weekend everyone. Lots of love xxx

Had a lovely evening again last night creating a page with Bo Bunny papers Lynne had put together. Think I may have added one too many flowers but well I still like the page. I wish I had others to blog of my own but I'm just really tired in the evening after looking after a 2 and half year old all day! When I think I will just do some crafting I get distracted by little kicks in my tummy and just want to lie down and enjoy the moment-then promptly fall asleep! Thank goodness for craft Den or my scrapbook would be a bit sparse!

Another beautiful layout designed by Lynne. We used Bo Bunny Paper and cut out a frame which I then inked. We used some lovely stamps to create the lovely corner border round the frame and flowers. I learnt how to make a beautiful rose which was a lot simpler then i thought it would be. Def one to use again! I used sticckles to create a little sparkle and some glittery letters to form the title. Had a lovely evening. I just want to say Kerry have a wonderful day on saturday and look forward to seeing the photos!

Another great class at Craft Den, using lots of different techniques including embossing. I'm pretty tired now so I cant remember the names of the papers! So I am off to bed to dream about future layouts...sweet dreams everyone. xxx

Here is my layout from last weeks Scrapbook Class. I took the photo just before we were about to leave for baby ballet. My little girl looks so grown up! Really loved creating this page there is something theraputic about ripping and creasing paper!! Can't wait for another fun session this evening!

Scrapbooking Thursdays

Had a great time on last night at Craft Den and learnt some new techniques, which I love! We used a crafters workshop 6x6 template to add a beautiful finish to some tags we made on the die cut machine. I scrapped some pics of when Caitlin made pizza which has now turned into a weekend lunch occurance! Lovely to see everyone last night too!

Thought I would make my mum a little present so instead of putting a photo in a frame I put it in a snow globe! I used stickles and pearl pen and adding a couple of flowers and gems. Unfortunately it got dropped so has a little crack but hopefully she wont mind!

I have completed a page i did at Lynne's scrapbook class a few weeks ago -'baby ballet' we used a new bo bunny paper and cut out the flowers we used a border punch and a die to make the swirl at the side (look at Chanelles blog for names!) I have also done 2 more Disney pages! Lots of love N x

I have finally got round to scrapping our pictures of Disneyland Paris. The pages are quite simple but just wanted to get them scrapped. I have lots more photos to scrap too. Bit late blogging this one but better late than never! We had a bit of a creative session last week where Lynne gave us some fab ideas such as the gorgeous tag and home made embellys and some gorgeous material and we got on with it! Here is mine. My daughter and her 2 best friends just being natural. Looking forward to another enjoyable scrapbooking class tonight!

I just love Thursdays - get to create an already designed (therefore) great scrapbook LO, good company and sometimes yummy cakes! Thankyou so much to Mary who supplied the latter tonight - they were gorgeous and very appreciated. Tonight we used Blonde Moments Yorkshire Pudding papers, created some swirls with a template and black pearl pens and stamped the papers to create a different effect. Here is my page. Ian was working from home today due to all this snow and we borrowed our neighbours sledge and took Caitlin sledging for the very first time, I m not sure who had the most fun her or us! I hope that the snow isnt causing you to much trouble!
